Since 1965, he had been married to Anne Hart, a dancer and actress, and they had two daughters named Emma and Sophie Corbett.
Regrettably, their first offspring, Andrew, passed away at the age of six weeks due to a heart condition.

As a beekeeper, he kept hives at his second home in Scotland.
He had a keen interest in golf and was present at both celebrity and pro-am events.
He was a supporter of both his local football team, Crystal Palace, and his hometown club, Heart of Midlothian.
At the age of 85, Ronnie passed away on March 31, 2016.
