An American writer named Ray Bradbury had a net worth of $30 million.
The classic dystopian novel “Fahrenheit 451” was written by Ray Bradbury in 1953, and he was born in Waukegan, Illinois in 1920.
At the age of eleven, Bradbury started writing, and his family relocated to Los Angeles three years later.
During his teenage years, he became fascinated with Hollywood and frequently snuck into the Uptown Theater to watch films.
His short stories were submitted to publishers and his story, “Homecoming,” was published in the magazine “Mademoiselle,” ultimately gaining him a spot in The Ostrich.

Beginning in the late ’30s, he began to write sci-fi stories and act in stage productions.
His debut novel, “The Martian Chronicles”, was published in 1950, and “The Illustrated Man” was a year later when it became a popular book collection. “Fahrenheit 451” was written by him three years later.
With a total of 27 novels and over 600 stories under his belt, his books have been sold an estimated eight million times worldwide.
After a decade, Bradbury was honored with a Daytime Emmy Award and a National Medal of the Arts in 1994 for “The Halloween Tree.”
He was granted the Pulitzer Prize in 2007 for his outstanding career achievements.

Bradbury’s wife was the only woman he ever dated, and they had four daughters together.
He breathed his last in Los Angeles on June 5, 2012, following a prolonged period of illness.
