An English football coach and former footballer, Henry James “Harry” Redknapp, has a net worth of $18 million.
Born in Poplar, London, England on March 2, 1947, he was just 11 years old when he was spotted by a Tottenham Hotspur scout while playing for East London Schools.
As a result, he spent time at Tottenham Hotspur’s youth team and later transferred to West Ham at the age of 15.
He emerged victorious over Spain 4-0 in the final of the 1964 UEFA Youth Tournament, playing for England at the youth level when he was 17 years old.
Redknapp’s football career saw him play as a midfielder.
West Ham United, Bournemouth, Brentford, and Seattle Sounders were some of the teams he played for during his senior career.
He made the decision to return to Bournemouth in 1982, where he completed his professional career, scoring approximately 12 goals in the domestic league. He commenced his coaching career by serving as player-assistant manager of Seattle Sounders, a North American League team, from 1976 to 1979.
At the start of the 1982-1983 season, he played a crucial role in coaching David Webb as David Webb’s assistant at Bournemouth.
Redknapp was in the middle of a car accident during the 1990 World Cup, which resulted in him being unconscious for two days, with a fractured skull and nose, cracked ribs, and a gash on his left leg.
He resigned from Bournemouth in 1992 after losing his smell and experiencing a recurring facial twitching after recovering.
He went on to coach West Ham, Portsmouth, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspurs (which he guided to their first UEFA Champions League victory) and is now coaching Queens Park Rangers, a Football League Championship club.
Sandra is the spouse of Redknapp, who has two sons, namely Jamie, a former footballer, and Mark, a model.
