An American college football coach and former player, Kevin Sumlin, has a net worth of $13 million.
Kevin Sumlin, who was born in Brewton, Alabama in 1964, played college football for the Purdue University Boilermakers in Indiana from 1983 to 1986, where he played linebacker.
Sumlin’s college coaching career commenced in 1988 when he was employed as a graduate assistant at Washington State.
After starting as a wide receivers coach at Wyoming and Minnesota, he went on to coach quarterbacks for the Golden Gophers.
After coaching wide receivers at his alma mater from 1998 to 2000, he went on to become the offensive coordinator and assistant head coach at Texas A&M in 2001. Afterward, Sumlin transferred to Oklahoma to coach special teams and tight ends after leaving A&M in 2003.
He was elevated to co-offensive coordinator with the Sooners in 2006 and worked alongside the team’s wide receivers.
In 2008, he secured his initial head coaching position with Houston, which he held until 2011 when Texas A&M appointed him as the head coach of their football program.
