Andrew “Andy” Grove, a Hungarian-American entrepreneur, engineer, and writer, was worth $500 million dollars in his day.
In Budapest, Hungary, Andrew Stephen Grove was born in September 1936.
The semiconductor industry was pioneered by Grove, a pioneering science.
At the age of 20, he fled from Hungary under Communist control.
He relocated to the United States and finished his education, earning a bachelor’s degree from City College of New York and a Ph.D. degree.

Until his death, he served as a senior advisor for Intel.
In 2000, Grove was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and he founded several foundations that are working on finding a cure. Andrew and Eva Kastan were married in 1958 and had two children.
