Jeff Sluman was born in Rochester, New York in September 1957.
After graduating from Florida State University in 1980, slumlum went on to become a professional athlete.
He achieved six victories on the PGA Tour.

Until he won the Tucson Chrysler Classic in 1997, Sluman had only won one major championship. He went on to win the Greater Milwaukee Open in 1998 and the Sony Open in Hawaii in 1999.
