Devers, who represented the University of California, Los Angeles, won gold medals in the 100 meters at the 1992 Barcelona and 1996 Barcelona Olympics, and also won a gold medal in the 4100 meter relay at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
In 1993, Devers won gold medals at the World Championships for 100 m and 100 m hurdles, followed by 100 m hurdles in 1995, 4100 m relay in 1997, and 100 m hurdles in 1999.
She achieved four gold medals at the World Indoor Championships and two more at the Pan American Games.
In addition, she was inducted into the United States Olympic Hall of Fame and presented with the NCAA Silver Anniversary Award.
