Richard Curtis, an English screenwriter, actor, producer, and director, is worth $30 million dollars.
Richard Whalley Anthony Curtis, who was born in Wellington, New Zealand, in 1956, obtained his BA in English language and literature from Christ Church, Oxford, and went on to work as an entertainment writer.
In the late 1970s, he began his career on BBC Radio 3’s “The Atkinson People” and later switched to writing for the screen.
The “Blackadder” series, the “Mr. Marvel” series, have been written by him since then.
“Bean” series, “The Tall Guy” romantic comedy, and “Bernard the Genie” are all examples.
“Four Weddings and a Funeral,” “Notting Hill,” “Bridget Jones’s Diary,” and “Love Actually” are among the many films that Curtis wrote and directed in the following decades.
Curtis received his first Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay for “Four Weddings and a Funeral” and also won his first BAFTA Award for Best Screenplay for “Love Actually” in 2004. He also won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Made for Television Movie and Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, Movie or Dramatic Special for “The Girl in the CafĂ©” in 2006.
Curtis has starred in “The Boat That Rocked”, “About Time”, “War Horse”, “Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason”, “Robbie the Reindeer”, and “The No Doubt” among other TV and film credits.
