Ana Maria Marcondes Penido Sant’Anna and her sister were included in the list of Brazil’s wealthiest individuals, following the death of their father, Pelerson Soares Penido, in 2012.
He left them the majority shares in CCR Group, which is considered the largest toll-road company in the country by market value. Ana Maria, who graduated with a degree in business administration from Mackenzie University, is now the chairman of CCR Group’s board of directors.
In reality, she has never been involved in the management of other publicly traded corporations.
