The net worth of a Russian businessman, known as Andrei Bokarev, is $1.7 billion.
Transmashholding, one of Russia’s largest machine building companies and rolling stock producer for railways and subway systems, is managed by billionaire billionaire Andrei Bokarev, who joined the industry in 2013.
In 1998, two years after graduating from the Moscow Finance Institute, he met his future business partner Iskander Makhmudov. Makhmudov offered Bokarev the opportunity to head Krutredag, which managed the export operations of the Kuzbassrazrezugol coal company.
Since that time, Andrei has been a minority partner in Makhmudov’s projects, which include Aeroexpress, the passenger rail operator operating in Moscow, and the freight railway operator Transgroup.
Bokarev, a fervent skier, holds the positions of President of the Russian Ski Sports Association and the Freestyle Federation of Russia.
