Gautam Singhania, an entrepreneur from India, is worth $1.4 billion.
The Chairman and Managing Director of Raymond Group, one of India’s biggest branded fabric and fashion retailers, is Gautam Singhania.
Singhania was born to industrial parents on September 9, 1965, and at the age of 21, he joined his family’s JK Group.
He had already completed his education at Mumbai’s Cathedral school.
In July of 1999, he became the Managing Director and in September of 2000, he became the Chairman.
He oversaw the expansion of the company, which shifted its focus from steel and cement production to men’s clothing, fabric, toiletries, and condoms. He also has a passion for automobiles, boats, and planes and is the founder of the first known Indian super car club.
Poison, a nightclub in Bandra, is also owned by him.
He currently resides in Mumbai and is engaged in the construction of a skyscraper that is 10 stories taller than the residential complex Antilla.
Presently, Singhania is married to Nawaz Modi Singhania and has a daughter named Niharika Singhania.
