The Norwegian entrepreneur Kjell Inge Rokke is worth $2.7 billion.
Kjell Inge Rokke, a Maritime tycoon, did not complete any secondary or higher education.
Despite this, he began working on fishing trawlers in Alaska at the age of 18.
During the 1980s, Rokke was based in Seattle, Washington and owned and operated American Seafoods Company. He later returned to Norway and bought and restructured several companies in the early 1990s.
Rokke holds a majority stake in Aker ASA, a group that manages ships, shipyards, offshore drilling, and other related activities.
He also has a new 230-foot super-yacht with space for 24 guests and 28 crew on board.
The individual who gained fame as a “foolish corporate tyrant” is ranked as the third richest man in Norway and the 458th richest man globally.
