A Canadian stand-up comedian and actor, Colin Mochrie, is worth $1 million dollars.
Kilmarnock, Scotland was the birthplace of Colin Mochrie, who spent his formative years in Montreal, Quebec, and Vancouver, British Columbia.
At first, he had aspirations of becoming a marine biologist, but after being cast in a school play, he decided to pursue acting as a character.
After enrolling in Studio 58 in Vancouver, he shifted his focus to improvisational comedy.
In 1980, he started working for the Vancouver TheatreSports League and later worked with the national touring company of Second City Improv. After leaving Second City, he decided to focus on his family and then auditioned to join the British cast of “Whose Line Is It Anyway” in the summer.
Despite facing two rejections, he was eventually selected for a part on the improvisational comedy show that spanned seven years.
Afterward, he served as a co-star on the American version of the show for the entire eight-year run.
He has gained a reputation for guesting various TV shows, movies, and commercials, and has also been seen in numerous commercials.
