An Englishman named Andy Summers, who is a $100 millionaire, is a guitarist, writer, and photographer.
Summers is most famous for being a co-founder of The Police with Sting and Stewart Copeland, and has had a successful solo career spanning multiple experimental releases, touring, writing film scores, and publishing books.
The Police have sold over 75 million albums and have featured popular songs such as “Roxanne,” “Can’t Stand Lose,” “Message in a Bottle,” “Don’t Stand So Close to Me,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” “Zenyatta Mondatta” (1980), “Ghost in the Machine” (1980), and “Synchronicity” (1983). They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003 and were also named as Chevaliers of the Ordre des Arts etiennes in 2007.
“XYZ” (1987), “World Gone Strange” (1991), and “The Last Dance of Mr. Oz” are just a few of the 12 solo albums that Andy has released to date.
