He gained fame as a keyboard player for the English bands Small Faces and Faces.
In the early 1960s, he began playing in bands and was recruited to play for Small Faces in 1965 for a weekly fee of 20-30 pounds.
The band’s manager, Don Arden, accumulated all their profits in 1997 without receiving any royalties.
In 1969, the band was given the name Faces after Rod Stewart joined as a member.
