The rock band Papa Roach has a member named Jacoby Shaddix, who is an American songwriter and singer and has a net worth of $12 million.
Born on July 28, 1976 in Mariposa, California, Jacoby Shaddix attended Vacaville High School and played the clarinet in the school orchestra.
Shaddix and Dave Buckner established Papa Roach in 1993.
Shaddix began playing the drums initially, but he quickly realized that Dave was much better than him.
Shaddix made the decision to play bass and join a band, but his bass was stolen.
Subsequently, he reverted to singing. At the age of 17, Shaddix began working as a dishwasher to finance his apartment with a friend.
He transitioned from being a hospital janitor to concentrating on Papa Roach in 1999.
The band’s name, Papa Roach, was derived from Howard William Roatch, Shaddix’s step-grandfather, who was also known as ‘Papa Roach’ at the time.
Prior to releasing their debut album “Infest”, Papa Roach recorded and released an EP titled ‘Potatoes For Christmas’ in 1994.
“Old Friends from Young Years”, their first full-length album, was released in 1997.
Shaddix and Kelly Michelle Shaddix, who are his high-school sweetheart and have three sons, exchanged vows on July 19, 1997, and he frequently tours with Papa Roach.
