The net worth of Nick Hexum, an American musician and songwriter, is $25 million.
Nick Hexum, the lead vocalist and guitarist of 311, a multi-platinum alternative rock band, was born in Madison, Wisconsin on April 12, 1970.
During his time at Westside High School in Omaha, Nebraska, Hexum participated in the school’s concert jazz band and also played in various local bands.
After relocating to Los Angeles, California in the late 1980s, he pursued a career in music. However, he only managed to find his first real chance in Omaha, Nebraska just a few years later.
His friend and future band mate, Chad Sexton, convinced him to move back to Omaha and start a band with Aaron Wills and Jim Watson, which eventually evolved into the 311 band.
After realizing that albums were the only way to gain exposure, Hexum established their own record label, What Have You Records. They released three albums before eventually signing with Capricorn Records in 1992.
In addition to his other ventures, Hexum was responsible for producing the soundtrack for the Adam Sandler/Drew Barrymore movie 50 First Dates, establishing a non-profit organization that supports environmental causes, supporting political causes such as the 2004 presidential election in support of John Kerry, and appearing in The Nick Hexum Quintet.
Hexum and Nickki, a writer/painter, exchanged vows on New Year’s Eve in 2008.
In 2009, a daughter named Echo Love was born, followed by a daughter named Maxine in 2011.
Hexum was featured on the Goldfinger song “The Knife” in 2017, and the album Mosaic was also released by 311.
