Kip Moore’s birth took place in Tifton, Georgia in April 1980.
During his time at Wallace State Community College, he honed his guitar skills.
He relocated to Hawaii after completing his college education and commenced surfing and backpacking.
He relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in 2004 and secured a publishing contract.
After serving as a manager at Abercrombie & Fitch for four years, Kip moved to MCA Nashville.
His debut single “Mary Was the Marrying King” debuted at #45 on the US Country chart in 2011 and his second single “Somethin’ Bout a Truck” achieved Platinum certification in the US, ranking at #1 on the US Country and #29 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
In April 2012, Moore released his debut studio album Up All Night.
