Mohammad Aamer, a cricketer hailing from Pakistan, is worth $20 million.
The year 1992 saw the birth of Mohammad Aamer, the youngest of seven children, in Guijar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan.
Initially, he played cricket in the streets of his hometown, but eventually he caught the eye of a local sports academy and became a member of the Pakistani national team.
In 2007, the left-arm fast bowler made his first class appearance.
At 17 years old, he made his debut in both a One-Day International and Test cricket two years later.
Aamer has represented three local teams, namely the Rawalpindi Rams, the National Bank of Pakistan, and the Federal Areas, since 2007. In 2012, he was involved in a significant investigation into possible spot-fixing.
During the national team’s 2010 tour of England, he was charged and convicted of conspiracy for bowling two-deliberate no-balls.
Aamer’s contract with BoomBoom Cricket was suspended as part of the investigation.
Aamer was found guilty by the International Cricket Council in late 2011 and appealed his six-month prison sentence, but his petition was later rejected.
He was incarcerated for three months before being released and is currently facing a five-year suspension from playing.
