Richard Childress, a former NASCAR driver, has a net worth of $250 million.
Richard Childress’ professional racing career began on a strange note in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, when he was drafted to race after the current NASCAR riders went on strike.
Despite being an average driver, with a personal best of third place in 1978, he would excel as a manager.
Following his victory with Ricky Rudd in 1983, Childress began recruiting drivers, including Dale Earnhardt, who would go on to win numerous championships. RCR, his team, has become one of the most successful in NASCAR history.
The current lineup includes Sprint Cup Drivers Paul Menard, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton, and Clint Bowyer, as well as Nationwide Series driver Austin Dillon, Camping World Truck driver Joey Coulter, and Arca Re/Max Series drivers Tim George, Jr. and Jeff Bowyer.

The Richard Childress Racing Museum and the Childress Vineyards Winery in Lexington, Kentucky, are among his other ventures.
