An American author and evangelical Christian pastor named Rick Warren has a net worth of $25 million dollars.
Rick Warren was born in San Jose, California, in 1954, to a father who was a Baptist minister and a mother who was a librarian.
He founded the initial Christian club in his high school and graduated with various other degrees.
Warren holds a B.A. degree.
A degree from California Baptist University, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from California’s Fuller Theological Seminary are all qualifications.
During his college years at 19, he learned that he was meant to be a pastor.
He established Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, which is now the eighth-largest church in the United States.
“The Purpose Driven Church” and “The Purpose Driven Life” are among the books authored by Warren.
He’s known for his outspoken religious stance and lack of belief in evolution. Warren supported California Proposition 8, which aimed to define marriage as a union between a man and woman, leading to his church being targeted by opponents of the proposed legislation.
Warren endorses a five-point plan to bring Earth back to Earth, which he refers to as “P.E.A.C.E.”
Elaborate on the plan.
It includes planting churches, equipping servant leaders, helping the poor, caring for the sick and teaching.
The Civil Forum on The Presidency in 2008 saw Saddleback Church and Warren make headlines for their hosting of Barack Obama and John McCain.
Following that, Obama invited the pastor to speak at his inauguration.
Warren and his wife, Kay, got married in 1979 and had three children, but their youngest son took his own life in 2013.
He and his significant other plan to support themselves with a ten percent salary and donate the remaining amount to charity.
