An American entrepreneur and author named Jim Rogers has a net worth of $300 million dollars.
Jim Rogers, who was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1942, spent his early years in Alabama and commenced selling peanuts at the age of five.
After earning a History degree from Yale University in 1964, he worked on Wall Street and later earned a second bachelor’s degree in philosophy, politics, and economics from Oxford University.
He became a member of an investment firm in the early ’70s and was introduced to George Soros, who would later become his partner at the Quantum Fund.
After a decade of early retirement, Rogers traveled the world on a motorcycle before becoming a guest professor at Columbia University.
Several TV shows have featured him on shows such as “The Dreyfus Roundtable” and “The Profit Motive with Jim Rogers”. He’s also the author of “Investment Biker”, a book that chronicles his multiple motorcycle journeys around the world.
The journey led to his inclusion in the “Guinness Book of World Records” list.
